I'll have a massage and some chicken feet
I got my massage. It was fabulous. The woman used a lot of pressure and it felt good on my tired feet. She started using her elbows on my back, a little much, but it was still good.Erin arrived in one piece. We went to the hotel restaurant for dinner. It was an interesting experience. The wait staff acted like they had never seen Americans before. The first course was chicken feet. We both looked at each other and agreed we'd try everything at least once. So we put this sauce on it (it smelled sweet) and went to bite in. We couldn't crunch through the bone.
After looking around us, we realized we were supposed to eat around the bone. First thing, they are slippery little suckers and hard to pick up with chopsticks. When we finally did it was an interesting experience. It didn't really have much taste, was very rubbery. Turns out the sauce was hot. Soon our lips and tongues were on FIRE. Enough, we stopped eating it and reached for our beer to put out the flames. The waiters laughed and brought us some sugar coated cashews instead. Here's the pictures:

Mike just arrived, we're going to go to Victoria Peak now to see the night lights of Hong Kong!

Chrissy, thanks for the updates, looks like your having fun. I feel like I am in China now, I wonder if Marjorie will give me another 1.5 credits?
We'll lobby for you Ryan! Glad you enjoy the story of our visit to China. Have some real wings for me!
Chicken feet....yes, my first run at them was in Tema. The family was invited to a Chinese dinner party...which turned out to be 26 courses!
Before you leave HK check and see if the Marco Polo room is still operating at the Mandarin IC Hotel. Your Grandfather hired the two main chefs from them and bought them to Accra...circa 1968.
wow yummy yummy
Brave is a key word for this trip! I'm sure there will be more interesting things we'll try. We had jelly fish before we left at a Chinese banquet (it was a practice banquet with our class). Jelly fish is very, very chewy!
Why did the chicken cross the street? So Chrissy and company wouldn't eat its feet!
Didn't your parents teach you better!
What out for that toe jam into between the toes!
HAHA you crack me up.
