Finally sinking in
It has finally started to sink in that I'm going to China! I got in the car this am (thanks for the ride Brian) and said "holy (insert bad word here) dude, I'm going to CHINA!"I'm very nervous, the feeling reminds me of when I first rode the Big Shot in Vegas. The last few moments of anticipation drive you nuts. You're sitting in the chair, looking at the strip 1,000 feet below you and know that in a split second you're going to be shot up into the air. When you finally do get launched into the air you feel excitement and relief that you no longer have to wait.
I still can't fathom that I'll be on the airplane for 24 hours. The thought of being in the same clothes for 24+ hours isn't so great, but ah, whatever.
My poor cats, they were so out of it last night. I shouldn't have shaved them. I'm the mean mom. They look so bizzare...I feel bad. Here's a before picture on the way to the vet:

Here's two after pictures...they look like crazy lions:

I should pack up and head to the gate. I promise this time, next post is from Japan or China (I have a four hour lay-over in Japan tomorrow afternoon).
Peace
P.S. I think I'm riding in the upperdeck on the flight from Chicago to Tokyo...neat.

Did your Mexican cousin, Frank, give you this idea? Why would you do that to poor Miss Kitty and Sparky? Doesn't it take forever for their hair to grow back? I swear half of Mr. Phoebe's head was uneven for about 4 months when he had to have his surgery that one time. Poor kitties... =)
I wanna be like Frank, if I could be like Frank. I wanna be like Frank :)
Your poor babies need to come and live with Auntie K and L and cousin K! We wouldn't shave them or abandon them for long periods of time to go trapsing around China.
"We would love you and hug you and call you Ralph" (Bugs Bunny cartoon)
You can't laugh at the babies either because you will hurt their feelings.
They look like they are starving of malnutrition.
